I have a friend who is switching over to Norton Internet Security from
a differet Internet Security suite.
He has NIS 2009 and NIS 2010 retail boxes, both unopened.
So I figure he is entitled to 2 years of NIS.

Should he install NIS 2009, use the activation code for NIS 2009, and
upgrade to NIS 2010?
Then wait for the expiry 1 year from now, and use the NIS 2010 retail
box copy's activation code for the following year?
Or can he start with the NIS 2010 installation, and use either
activation code for the 1st year?
