Subject: An appeal for save a life

Respected Teachers/Colleagues, BDvetNET, BAUnet Members, Krishibids and Dear Friends,

Assalamualikum.

With due respect I inform to all of you that our colleague Rexona Akter, lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Finance and Banking, Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU), Sylhet has been suffering from severe disease “NonHodgkin’s Lymphoma or Thymoma”.

She joined April 01,2012 in Sylhet Agricultural University as a lecturer. It’s a great achievement for her and it is good news for all of us. Before joining in this university she worked as senior officer in Rajshahi krishi Unnayon Bank and junior officer in Pubali Bank Bangladesh Ltd. Last three years she worked Pubali Bank, BAU campus branch. Unfortunately this great achievement (University teacher) could not bring any happiness for Rexona Akter and her family. After joining in SAU, Sylhet, 2nd April 2012 she went to Bogra for taking release from the job of RAKUB. In Bogra she faced some problem and contracted with Doctor. But the doctor referred her in Dhaka. She went to Dhaka for treatment. She communicated with Dr. A.K.M. Razzaque, FCPS, Surgery, Associate Professor, Thoracic Surgery, NIDCH, Mohakhali, Dhaka-1212 and after diagnosis she known that she has been suffering from severe disease “NonHodgkin’s Lymphoma or Thymoma”. Immediately she needs proper treatment. Now she is under supervision of Dr. A. K.M. Razzaque. In Bangladesh this type of treatment is not so easy. So in
this circumstance Rexona Akter needs to go to India for better treatment. For this treatment needs enough money. But she has not enough capability to continue this costly treatment because her family
is financially weak.

In our batch Rexona Akter was a good student and polite girl. She secured first class with 12th position in Honors final examination in 2004 and first class with 1st position in Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics (Finance) in 2006. Rexona Akter is only 28 years old. If Almighty Allah gives her life she has enough opportunity
to buildup her career. She has ambition to buildup her career as an honest teacher and will serve our country. But this unexpected disease will be spoiled all the ambition and her bright future.

With request to all of you please do something for her. Please save
her life from this severe disease. Give her a new life.
