Multiculturaleducation is education that promotes diversity, difference, and tolerance. The values of multicultural education that are implanted are expected to be a solution to resolve or avoid cases that often occur in Indonesia because of the background of cultural differences in society. The planting of multicultural education values must be applied to the general public, especially to students as early as possible. The values of multicultural education can be done in various ways, one of them is using animated film media, namely the Upin Ipin animated film. children in general will better understand what they often see. Upin Ipin's animated film tomorrow's episodes, gong xi fa cai, and deepavali illustrate how peaceful and peaceful multicultural life. Where in the film illustrates how the reality of multicultural life that lives peacefully even with different cultural backgrounds. In addition, in the animated film Upin Ipin tomorrow's episodes, gong xi fa cai, and deepavali there are multicultural education values namely tolerance, democratic values, help please values, pluralism values, justice values, equality values, equality values, humanism values, and the value puts the dialog first.

Representations of public life in recalling past events or history can be found, among others, in 3D animated films. An interpretation of connotative meaning, as the second layer meaning, arises when a symbol is associated with its psychological aspects, such as feelings, emotions, or beliefs, which are closely related to culture, knowledge, and history. This study aims to interpret symbols in the Kenangan Mengusik Jiwa episode of Upin & Ipin animated film for their denotative and connotative meaning to better understand the context of the story and the moral message conveyed. A questionnaire was used in this research to increase validity. In processing questionnaire data, a calculation is conducted using the Likert scale. The results of the study indicate that the main moral message conveyed in this episode is to never forget history or established culture. This interpretation is supported by results from questionnaire data.

Pendidikan multikultural merupakan pendidikan yang harus diprioritas, hal tersebut terkait keanekaragaman yang menjadi konten dalam pendidikan multikultural yang berupa perbedaan karakter, cara pandang, budaya, dan toleransi. Nilai Pedagogis multikulturalisme dapat menjadi solusinya dalam mengatasi berbagai masalah di Indonesia sebab budaya di Indonesia sangat beragam. Masyarakat Indonesia harus mempelajari nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural dari anak-anak, karena dimasa anak-anak adalah masa pembentukan karakter. Film animasi Upin dan Ipin merupakan salah satu film yang memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural, hal ini dikarenakan film animasi ini berisi beragam kebudayaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang nilai multikultiral dan makna yang terkandung dalam film animasi Upin dan Ipin tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif, dikarenakan penelitian ini berfokus pada penyajian laporan dari kutipan-kutipan narasi yang terkandung di dalam film Upin dan Ipin. Data yang digunakan ialah cuplikan tuturan pada film Upin dan Ipin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menonton atau observasi, dokumentasi, selanjutnya teknik kode (menandai bagian yang akan di analisis) dan terakhir menganalisis data sesuai dengan nilai pendidikan multikultural. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam film animasi Upin Ipin episode Ragam Ramadhan, Raya Norma Baharu, Raya Penuh Makna terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yaitu pluralisme, keadilan, kesetaraan, humanisme, toleransi, demokrasi, tolong menolong, dan mendahulukan dialog. Manfaat dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan kepada pembaca mengenai pentingnya nilai pendidikan multikultural dalam membangun toleransi kehidupan bermasyarakat.


This research is motivated by the large number of television shows that contain negative content that is often watched by elementary school-age children and animated films upin and ipin which contain the value of social caring character for planting for children in grade III SDB 02 Karangbener. This study aims to determine the value of the character of social care in television shows Upin and Ipin season 5 episode "Ikhlas dari Hati" and the effect on the class III students of SDN 02 Karangbener. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used are: (1) Interview; (2) Questionnaire; (3) Observation; and (4) Documentation. Based on the result research, it was obtained data that the research conducted on the planting of socially caring character values in class III students showed good results seen from the results of observations and questionnaires. This shows that the animated film upin and ipin season 5 "Ikhlas dari Hati" can be used as a means of planting the social caring character values of the third grade students because in the episode there are many social caring characters that are good for children.

Banyak pengaruh yang ditimbulkan dari menonton film Upin dan Ipin, mulai dari pesan moral yang mendidik hingga meniru bahasa yang terdapat pada film tersebut yaitu bahasa Melayu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter pada film Upin dan Ipin episode Taman Riang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, simak, catat, angket, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, maka ditemukan nilai karakter pada setiap adegan film Upin dan Ipin. Nilai karakter yang ditemukan dalam film Upin dan Ipin episode Taman Riang yaitu religius, kerja sama, kerja keras, jujur, peduli sosial, rasa ingin tahu, toleransi, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif/bersahabat dan iri hati. Simpulan hasil dari analisis film Upin dan Ipin episode Taman Riang yaitu terdapatsepuluh nilai karakter yang terkandung dalam film Upin dan Ipin yang dapat digunakan guru untuk media alat bantu dalam proses penyampaik


This research was motivated by the importance of entrepreneurial values among elementary school children through the film Upin Ipin, which can be applied in daily life by making habits from both the family and school environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of entrepreneurship in the film Upin Ipin. This study used descriptive qualitative as an approach. The subject of this research was the film Upin Ipin. Data collection techniques in this study used observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model with 3 stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings show that the entrepreneurial values found in the film of Upin Ipin which derived from the episodes of "Bila Besar Nanti, Taman Mesra, Pokok Seribu Guna, and Rajin Menyimpan Bijak Belanja are 16 out of 17 entrepreneurial values, namely independence, discipline, creativity, cooperation, hard work, honest, action-oriented, never give up, innovative, strong motivation to succeed, commitment, communicative, responsibility, curiosity, leadership and realistic.


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola perilaku sosial anak dalam animasi Upin dan Ipin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskripsi kualitatif karena sumber datanya diperoleh dari dialog berupa percakapan Upin, Ipin dan kawan-kawan pada episode cerita kami bagian 1 season 5, indahnya syawal bagian 1-2 season 10, ikhlas dari hati bagian 1-2 season 5 dan untuk prestasi bagian 1-3 season 12. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan peneliti sendiri sebagai sumber kunci. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pola perilaku sosial anak pada setiap animasi Upin dan Ipin yaitu kerja sama, kemurahan hati, simpati, sikap ramah dan sikap tidak mementingkan diri sendiri. Animasi Upin dan Ipin dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menumbuhkan pola perilaku sosial karena episode-episode tersebut mengandung perilaku yang baik untuk ditiru oleh anak-anak. Pengembangan pola perilaku sosial perlu didik sejak dini agar tidak menimbulkan kesulitan di kemudian hari.


Abstract: The research aims at describing the pattern of children social behavior in Upin and Ipin cartoons. This type of research is descriptive qualitative because the data source obtained from dialogue in the form of conversations by Upin, Ipin and friends in episode Our Story part 1 season 5, Beautiful of Syawal part 1-2 season 10, A Sincere of Heart part 1-2 season 5and Need for Achievement spart 1-3 season 12. The instruments used to collect the data are observation, documentation and the researcher herself as the key instrument. The data analyzed qualitatively. The result indicated that there children social behavior pattern found in each of the upin and ipin cartoons, those are cooperation, kind heart, care, help for others and fairness. Upin and Ipin's cartoon can be used as a means of cultivating social behavior patterns because these episodes contain good behavior to be imitated by the children. The development of social behavior patterns needs to be educated since early age so that this does not cause any difficulties in the future.
