I did more experiments today and it seems to be linked to camber...aggressive default setup has maximum negative camber -4, if you put -3.8 for example the deadzone at the center seems to decrease a lot...anyway i don't think it's intentional and i don't really like the ffb now and how the car re

I have been hunting around for good settings for a while (CSL DD 8NM), can't seem to find a good base. Not fully, sure what I should be feeling for either. Right now, I have reverted back to the recommended settings on the first page. Are they still good and relevant, or is there a better set?

the only difference for me is that i had to increase the DPR to 100% in the fanatec drivers to feel more weight...but i will try lower it when i'll have a decent car setup for the new update..Thank you for sharing it!

Hi Ste and guys, I've noticed that in single games the force feedback is as I have it set (Stefano's settings), but when I'm in multiplayer servers I find that the force feedback is lighter, is it just me or do I need to change something? Thank you very much.

Ok guys, i think i have to modify my settings...today i tried for the first time since i have the game to activate the "road effects"...now the wheel is alive! I think for the CSL DD is a must now...it not only adds road surface detail, but i feel like better resistance to turn wheel while driving , or i think thats cause wheel vibrates more on road so that vibrations makes me think as its tyre graining on surface and it feel like slight resistance to turn wheel.. i could tell like road effects not only makes us feel track surface but also like steering shaft. I think also interpolation can be set to "0" if you like to feel more this effect

Having the CSL DD I was wondering if there was a way for the steering lock to soft lock automatically? My wheel rotation is perfect ingame but i can turn the wheel further without resistant why is that? Any other game has soft lock for me

Finally got around to trying these settings, and they are excellent! Thank you, Stefano! The only thing I changed was I turned the Gain down to 55, as 65 felt too strong and I was getting tired over longer stints. (Maybe I just need to hit the gym! ?)

Pre-1.9, I always felt the FFB in ACC was a bit numb, and didn't transmit all of the details it seemed like it should. Now, after the update and with these settings, the car has come alive and I'm definitely enjoying it a lot more!

Force feedback settings are too complicated and no one expect from you is understanding what they need to do. I stopped playing this game because I needed to dial my settings each time I am trying a new car.
We need only 2 things for FORCE FEEDBACK

I hope that you will read that and make some changes to it. Because I am not the only one. And after you see how many people are playing Forza Motorsport 8. You can get yours own conclusions about why no one is playing. When Gran Turismo and ACC are doing very welll.

dude, you realy change your wheelbase settings to every car you drive? thats not very useful mate. you setup your wheelbase for a game, use the profiles, and switch them by the game you play. setup ffb things ingame. then, you also have a ffb slider for each car, that saves with the car setup.
FM8 have a very poor ffb. even more poor are the standard ingame ffb settings.
best you can do is start an other game( assetto corsa as reference, setup your wheelbase till you enjoy the ffb, then switch back to fm8 and try to adjust the ingame things to make the car feels drivable.
