ABC Radio Multiplatform is looking for a great a PHP engineer with the
following skills & attributes. It will be a 3 month contract at least,
with an intent to advertise an on-going position that is almost the
same thereafter.

ABC Open is an initiative to help regional audiences create content
through ABC platforms. We're working in a very interesting technology
space, with a newly forming team of very, very good people. It's a key
focus for ABC Radio over the next three years, and if we get it right,
it will produce some great content and be a model for user
participation in public media.

It's a mid to heavyweight gig.

Hard Skills
Essential
- PHP 4-5
- Experience with MVC framework methodologies
- Experience with relational databases / MySQL, Postgres, Oracle..

Highly Beneficial
- Architecture / Domain Modelling and URL Design
- Working within an agile framework

Nice to have's
- All geo-spatial stuff
- Scaling Experience
- XSLT

Process Skills
- Good communication
- Teamwork in a development team (including source control tools)
