Funke is seeking a junior PHP Developer

A full-time opportunity has become available for a junior PHP
developer to join our funky team immediately. Salary will be
considered based on skills, knowledge and experience.

The applicant will have the opportunity to experience and contribute
on the end to end processes in a projects lifecycle – from pre-sales,
to architecture, coding, testing and support.

The ideal applicant must have:
* 6 - 12 months experience developing in PHP
* Experience in the web development process
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to work independently and to deadlines
* Excellent problem solving skills
* An understanding of basic OO principles
* Ability to read and write basic SQL queries
* An understanding of W3C valid HTML/XHTML markup

It is highly advantageous if you have:
* Experience developing with Open Source CMS’s – Drupal, Joomla or
Wordpress
* Solid JavaScript Skills and JavaScript frameworks
* Developed using the Eclipse platform
* Used a Versioning System such as CVS or SVN
