Interesting project presented at ICRA titled "Self Assembly of a Sward of Autonomous Boats into Floating Structures". Essentially a bunch of boats running ROS on Gumstix boards communicate with a ROS master PC (that is poolside) to dock together to create bridges/landing pads etc.
