Hello team,

I am restoring an old Fujifilm DPC next photo kiosk into a photobooth.
I wish to add a pole mount to the base of it, suitable for a 36mm speaker pole.

I am wondering what the best practice way of finding the center of balance would be ?

The unit is mostly symmetrical on its X axis, but it's Y axis has quite a weight difference.

My plan was to just sit it on something and move it around until it's mostly balanced... But I'm wondering how others would approach this?

Attached is a photo of the unit !

Bonus points if anybody wants to help me.get CUPS working with its TTP2030 thermal kiosk printer to print images.....

Use the edge of a long straight object, like a table. Move it until it just starts tipping and you have found the center line of one axis. Mark that with tape.

Then turn it 90 degrees and repeat to find the next axis. Where they intersect is the centre of mass of the foot.
