Here’s your chance to take the stage at Confab.

Dear Elle,    Today’s the day... the call for Confab 2021 speakers is OPEN!  SUBMIT A PROPOSAL As always, we welcome pitches from first-time speakers and pros alike. No matter what your job title is, if you can share good stories and in-depth expertise, we want to hear from you. What topics are best to pitch? The Confab audience is always eager for content methods, tools, case studies, and big ideas in these topic areas:  Analytics and measurement  Content design  Content management  Content modeling  Enterprise content  Inclusion and accessibility  Research and analysis  Roles and processes  Social media strategy  Strategy  Teams and stakeholders  UX/UI writing  Visual design  Workflow and governance Where is Confab 2021 happening? At this time, we anticipate that Confab 2021 will be a virtual event. There will be two parts to the conference: 1) a live broadcast, and 2) a library of pre-recorded, on-demand talks.  This is actually great news for our global content strategy community: no matter where in the world you are, you can speak at Confab 2021! (Also, if stage fright has held you back in the past, now’s your chance to deliver a talk from the safety of your own living room.)  Note: Should we end up having a live event, all speakers will receive financial support to help cover travel costs. What makes for a really great proposal? Read our tips for pitching a talk. And remember: that little voice in your head that says, “Who am I to give a talk on this? What makes me think I’m an expert?” Tell that voice to TAKE A SEAT. Confab attendees are your peers, and they want to hear about what you know. Trust us. When are proposals due? If you’d like to take the Confab stage in 2021, submit your proposal by Friday, October 2, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.  Submit a proposal It’s time to get the gears turning in that brilliant brain of yours.
