Error Connect BD by Modem

I'm trying to connect to DB Sybase 10.5 by modem, the connection is Ok. But
when I try connect to Database appear an error " .. ct_connect(): network
packet layer: internal net library error:Net-Lib protocol driver call to
connect two endpoints failed. Error code: 4 Database:Repuestos"

Somebody knows what's wrong? Somebody can help me?
I've installed the same aplication in others pc's and works fine.
The aplication are developed in Pb.
