top rows but not by set rowcount

hello,
i need to pass information from my sybase server to sql server 2005,
there for i'm using SSIS,
i need to sellect only the first n rows,
i know the command set rowcount
but in this case the query parser dosen't handel it.
is there any other way to get only the top rows?
