Help with ASIQ engine maintenance

Could someone please help me with Sybase Adaptive Server IQ engine
itself (and not database) maintenance tasks (DB Checks, backup system
tables, log files surveillance etc.. ) to ensure that the engine is
properly running and to prevent problems. Which tasks sould be done ?
and how they should be scheduled ?
Tasks will be executed using NetBackup, Tivoli and scheduled using
Maestro (TWS 7.0) runing on HP Unix. So sample scripts will be great !
