I have a DBA that won't grant "view server state" to the database user that is used with bringing up the Mobilink Synchronization Server. I have seen documentation that "View Server State" is required for the account connecting to the database for Mobilink. Is there a work around? Also, for curiosity what is the internals doing to require that permission?
