I can not unload a DB with ASA 6.0. I just get a message "Unload
Failed". Is this a known bug?

Thanks,

Majodi

There was a known problem with running any of the
dbunload/extract/rebuild utilities from Sybase Central on Windows '95
that would produce this error.
This has been fixed in 6.0.01 and the 6.0.00 ebf (build 701).
If this is not your case, can you provide mnore details (OS, commandline
for engine and dbunload)?

Jason,

Ok but where to get this???? I don't understand why Sybase makes it so
very hard to get new builds or fixes.

We are silver partner but don't even know how or where to get updates.
The only thing I can find on the web is an EBF for win3.1 (fixing some
network problem). I did try the download area and I had to create a
user account. But I did get a server error.

So.... Please tell me how and where. The exact address or ftp site to
get updates/fixes.

Thanks,

You must call tech support and ask for an EBF for the current release you
are using.

Ok, I just did. They are now trying to find out what EBF number I need. But
still I think it would work faster and without making any phone calls
taking other peoples time by just putting these EBFs on the net directly.

I hope I will receive this EBF number by e-mail. If not I hope someone else
here knows what number.

Btw, my current build is: 6.0.0.643

Thanks,

Majodi

You cannot request a "SQL Anywhere or Adaptive Server Anywhere" EBF by
number. You just get the very lastest EBF. All EBFs are incremental, so a
newer one contains all the previous fixes.

Did you make sure you asked for a "SQL Anywhere or Adaptive Server Anywhere"
and not a
"Adaptive Server Enterprise" EBF.

If this is the case why isn't it available anywhere? Just a simple http
address would do. I can not understand why this is such an adventure.

Yes and the lady was very friendly but still no solution...

Thanks,
