ASA Sever version: 10.0.1.3694

Currently we're using ODBC Data Source Administrator with system data
sources name and SQL Anywhere 10 driver. On the "Network" tab we check
"Shared memory" with default buffer size of 1460 bytes. Would we be better
of by checking TCP/IP as well and change the buffer size to 4096 bytes or
even higher. Is there a limited buffer size for TCP/IP?

Thanks in advance for you help.

Best regards,
Rachan Terrell

Unless you need to connect to an engine running on a different machine,
shared memory should be fine.

Don't change buffer size unless there is a reason to do so and after
consultation with your network admins.
