Good morning....
I am have a strange problems where I connecting to a SQL Anywhere 6.0.02
database fine from PB development thru the pibble, but I get the fullowing
error when I compile the code to PBDs : SQLSTATE = 37000. Nothing is being
changed from the pbls to the exe. This is driving me crazy trying to figure
this out.

Thanks for the help.

I can't find any documentation on that sqlstate. does any text accompany the error?

Here is the error text that is being logged. As I mentioned before, the
program connects fine from the pibbles, but after I compile and try to run
from the PBDs then I get the following error :

8/3/99 14:21:46 PT3.0 11/07/93 : Application Error : Application Login :
Error Accessing User Database : -131 SQLSTATE = 37000
[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Syntax error

NOTE:
I did try with SqlAnywhere 5.5.04 and everything works fine both from
pibbles and PBD. I did compile the program with PB 6.5 no service packs.

Once again that for the help.

Try turning on ODBC trace (from the ODBC manager) and seeing what it reveals about the connection
failure.

Or trace if from within PB.

DBParm.DBMS = 'TRACE ODBC'

That will turn on the database trace which can be a bit easier to read
than the ODBC trace. However, to be absolutely sure of what is being
sent to the db server the ODBC trace is better.
