Does printopen actually start a job on the default printer
or if I do A printopen and then print 2 dw's to the job that
each have a defined printer (the same one) that is not the
default, when I do a print close will they print to the
right printer?

If you use PrintDataWindow to print those datawindows, they will print
to the default printer. If you use dw_x.Print, they will print to
whatever printer you have in their print definition. If you haven't
specified anything, they will also default to the default printer.
Note that they will print as individual jobs in that case, not part of
the print job.
