How do I Save Image into a JPEG/BMP/GIF File ?

I managed to save an image(jpeg/bmp/gif) into the database
using BLOB variable and UPDATEBLOB statement.

Now when I retrieve the Image from the DataBase using
SELECTBLOB and display it on the screen assigning it to a
picture object, I wish to save this image back to a
JPEG/BMP/GIF file format onto the storage drive.

Please let me know how this can be achieved.
