I have a tab that has a splitbar on it between a datawindow
and an OLE object. I'm using the resize service and it
works great. But there is a problem. The splitbar starts
in the middle roughly, and if I move it up to make the top,
lets say, 1/3 and the bottom 2/3 that works, except when I
then maximize the window. The top part resizes to the
original 50/50 proportion while the bottom stays at 2/3. Is
that a bug or am I missing something?

Thanks.

I'm a little fuzzy on the explanation: the top part is 50%, and the
bottom part is 66%. Something doesn't add up. <g> Do they overlap? Do
they extend past the bottom of the window? It's not entirely clear.

That being said, I'm not sure clarification of symptoms will be enough
to help over newsgroups. If it were me, I'd step through this with the
debugger to see what is happening. It sounds to me like it's less of
an issue with the splitbar, and more an issue with the registration of
everything with the Resize service. (Note: Personally, I'm a big fan
for the registration method that takes the controls and the 4 integer
percentages; it gives you absolute control.)

Good luck,

Sorry for the lack of clarity, yes the bottom overlaps the
top. I agree with you - I much prefer the control of using
the integers. I'll step through; I was just hoping someone
had seen it before and would save me the time.

Thanks!
