Buttonface RGB

Can anyone give the RGB component values for the buttonface
color. And if possible, in general, how to determine this
from the long color of an object?

You can try windows Display properties to get the RGB numbers.
Right click on the window..go to "properties"..go to "desktop" tab..click
"color" then "other". Then choose your color and get you RGB numbers.

Or what I like to do is to save an object with the color of interest, open
the object in Edit Source mode, and checkout the number.

You're assuming the ButtonFace color is Gray. The user can
set his own color for ButtonFace. Regardless of what the
user's color is. 67108864 is the Windows color:

User: rgb(128,128,128) = 8421504->Dark Grey
Windows: 67108864

User: rgb(9,128,0) = 32768->Dark Green
Windows:67108864

Getting RGB Colors:
long ll_Color = 12632256 // Gray, ie. Button Face
(192,192,192)
integer li_RVal,li_GVal,li_BVal
li_RVal = integer(mod(ll_Color,256))
li_GVal = integer(mod((ll_Color / 256),256))
li_BVal = ll_Color/ 65536

NOTE: Does NOT work for system color constants. Replacing
ll_Color with the SYSTEM color (67108864) ALWAYS gives
1024,0,0, regardless of the user's ButtonFace setting.
