I have created a simple window with some script on a button. When I
try to run it I get the subject message.

Your application object needs script to call the window. (assuming
you've got a *very* simple one window test app, of course)

To be more specific, when PB runs an application, it fires the Application
object's Open event. In that script (unless you have a non-visual
application) you would do any necessary setup (like creating global
non-visuals), check security, connect to a database, and finally open the
first window. When the last window is closed, the Application Close event
fires, and there you clean up as needed.

There is a File / Run/Preview.. menu icon (also on toolbar by
default), distinct from the Run / Run <appname> menu item (the
"running man" icon) that lets you run a window without an application
open event (AFAIK), but you also won't get global variables
instantiated.

Good luck,

It was an obvious newbie question, and a Train the Trainer class said you
need to already know 80% of the answer to ask a useful question.
I would have sent OP the Getting Started book in Help, but does
quick-and-dirty coding that is totally unsuited to the production
environment so I hate to put those ideas in people's heads.
Or maybe I should suggest
