String function like Instr, Substring, Indexof and contains

Hi All,

I'm new to PB. Please let me know the equal command or similar command
for the below:

Instr
Substring
Indexof
Contains

Because i have to find the one word in the string. Please let me know
ASAP.

The equivalent of InStr is Pos. There is also a LastPos function that starts
at the end. The equivalent of Substring would be Mid.

I'm not familiar with the others.

Open the Help file and look up "string functions".

[Jerry Siegel [TeamSybase]]

Substring should map to Mid. The Left and Right functions may also be of
interest.
