Dear all,
I am installing my alternate copy of pb 11.5
with the setup (from downloaded copy), after introducing my
licence key, the installation start with infomaker, and it's
ok.
Then installation of PB freeze with two setup windows
inconized on my task bar and appear on my screen the phrase
"Setup is running in another window, use alt+tab to switch
between windows" and this is the end of my installation. I
am not able to continue the task.

Tips ? Is this a known problem ? It's my mistake ?
TIA

It seems to me this problem exists during beta. Looks like the fixed did not
make it in this release.

The work around is mimicking the reboot by pressing by pressing
Ctrl+Alt+Del. Then this response window will show up so you can continue
your installation.

My experience (yours may vary) is that when this came up on only one
of my machines (others worked fine), I walked away for a while. Long
while. Sculpt a '69 Camaro in butter-kind of while. By the time I got
back, the installation had proceeded. This may not work in your case,
but you'll end up with a nice table decoration. <g>

Good luck,

I did the same as Eddy. FWIW, I had one machine that did it and one
that didn't. There seems to be some process that causes the
installation to hand, and the reboot attempt clears it out. Perhaps
an overanxious virus scanner.

Hi Bruce,
I use the Comodo firewall and the Avast! antivirus. When I goes in
trouble for this installation, I turned off these software but only the
"Eddy" way fix me the problem.
FYI
