Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect

Hi

In a PB6.5/Sybase 11.5 application some users are often gets this message.
"Select error: ct_send(): network packet layer: internal net library error:
Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect"
and then
"Select error: ct_cmd_alloc(): user api layer: external error: The connection
has been marked dead."

This is especially for users that connect to the database via Internet. The
application uses Sybase Open client.

I don't know why this message occurs, is it because of the connection terminates
due to timeout or can it be that their internet connection drops a small moment?

Are there anything I can do to the setup of connection in PB or on the
database-server to prevent this?
