Can NOT retrieve in datawindow painter

Hello,

I have experienced this problem before and the only way I could fix it was
to re-install powerbuilder. Since that is quite the headache I was hoping
that someone may have encountered this and know a different solution.

I am running Powerbuilder 9.0.3 with the December 2006 build and in the data
window painter I have lost the capability to retrieve rows. The button is
greyed out and also the option in ROWS. I have verified that I am connected
to the database but ANY data window I try to retrieve I have this problem.
As I said I have experienced this before and the only way to correct it was
to re-install completely.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

If you click on the preview panel, does the retrieve button become
enabled? If the preview panel doesn't have focus then those menu items
you mentioned are disabled.

You've close the preview panel by mistake. Go to View, Layouts, Default to
reset your layout.
