Treeview-DW get collapsed and expanded nodes

Hi,
is there a way to get information about the state of a node ( collapsed
or expanded ). I need this info to let the user save this settings for
future visitings.

Take a look at the help file for the DataWindow's expanding, expanded,
collapsing, and collapsed events. Those events get notified as to the
first row and grouplevel being expanded or collapsed which you can
save and then use with the Expand or Collapse functions to return the
DataWindow to its previous state.
