Hello,

It looks like you are running into the following bug:
486887 - OpenSwitch Manager gets exception in tokenizeVersionString while connecting to OpenSwitch running on Windows.

Basically, the OpenSwitch Manager needs OpenSwitch's version string.
The version string for OpenSwitch running on Windows is slightly different
than the string for OpenSwitch running on UNIX. The Manager chokes
when it tries to parse the string coming from an OpenSwitch running
on Windows.

Since all of the functionality that the Manager provides can be accomplished
from the command line, this bug does not have a high priority. If you
need it fixed, please log a case with Sybase technical support.

Thanks,
Neal

Hi Neal,

I'm receiving the same error and I'll be at a customer site next week
installing this plugin. Is "rp_version" the problem and is there any way
to circumvent it? The customer would like to use the plugin.

Thanks in advance,
M. Hansen (SPS)

Hi Mike,

The only way to circumvent it is to run OpenSwitch on a platform
other than Windows.

Thanks,
Neal
