Hi Guys,

On this forum for the first time, so when my question is not
apprpriate, just let me know...

Any of you been able to install Sybase on Mac OSX?
I run the installer, try to open a database, but get a message that
the 'environment variables are not set...'

Any help appreciated...

Did you try logging out and logging in again? In order for the Mac GUI
environment to pick up new environment variables, you will need to do that.

If you use the terminal, you can just source $SQLANY/bin32/sa_config.sh,
then run the programs.

Beyond that, what version of SQL Anywhere are you using (version and
build number), and what version/patch level of Mac OSX are you using?

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
Phil
