Dear ALL,

I have 2 problems.
1.SAP UDconnect (connectin using JDBC to sybase database
from sap)
2.JISQL from Diffrent machine.

We have installed the Syabse : SQL Anywhere 9 on XP machine,
32 bit OS.
I am dowunloed the Jconnect 6.05 from Sysbase and configure
the JDBC_home and CLass path to jconn3.jar.

When i Exicute the Jisql Batch file then it's connected to
sybase database using proper ip,user, password on same sybase
machine. But when Jconnect 6.05 copied and configured the
JDBC and Classpath JISQL not able to connect the sybase
database from diffrent machine and getting follwoing error

"java.sql.SQLException: JZ00L: Login failed. Examine the
SQLWarnings chained to this exception for the reason(s). "

Same error we have facing when run the SAP udconnect test
script through web.

Please suggest where is the problem and what to do ?

Regards,
Ravi Ghangure

Hi,

Are you able to run the RIBO utility - this is a trace utility that sits
between client and server, capturing the TDS packets passed between
client (JISQL) and the Sybase server (ASA). Your login is failing and this
can be due to not only invalid user information but other things (such as
character set settings and language, etc) - the TDS trace might help with
the problem. RIBO is in the Sybase folder under jutils-2_0\ribo.
