TreeView 2 controls what you see in TreeView 1

We have Infomaker 11.5 and a SQL database on SQL 2008 server.

I have created two treeviews. TreeView 1 lists all account codes,
Treeview 2 lists all transactions by date associated with the account
code in Tree View 1.

Treeview 1 has columns for beginning and ending values as well as
debit and credits for the year specified in retrieval arguments.

Treeview 2 lists all transactions between start and end dates
specified in retrieval arguments.

If TreeView 1 has no transactions for that specific year, the row
disappears.

I would like the row (TreeView 1) to show up and just not have a
transactions row (TreeView 2) if none exists that year.

Is this possible?
