We are currently running DC 12.5.4 on AIX with IBM
Communication server 6.1 over a pure SNA link to DB2.
We are looking to upgrade to DC 12.6.1 with Comm. Server 6.3
over an APPN/Enterprise Extender SNA link to DB2 to utilize
our IP network and yet maintain our CICS routing which is
dependant upon SNA.
Is there any experience with this architecture?
What are the performance implications?

We have tested running DC 12.5.4 over a pure IP interface
but we found that the performance hit and transaction
multiplication on the MF was unacceptable.

I've seen this done with 12.6.1 without performance issues.

We are running multiple Powerbuilder and application/batch
server client architecture. Are there any
implimintation/deployment issues that I need to be aware of?
Special Powerbuilder requirements?

None that I am aware of since PB is still going through DirectConnect.
