Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 6+ months
.NET based QA Automation Engineer, Selenium experience
Mode of Interview: Phone (non technical), Phone (technical) then Skype or F2F

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of automation experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the software industry (QA and/or Development);
• Establishes and demonstrates a working knowledge of tools and technology used in the area
• Ability to design, build and test high quality reusable automated test harnesses and modules
• Demonstrates aptitude for analytical problem-solving
• Works towards solving complex problems independently
• Generates innovative approaches and solutions to recurring problems
• Troubleshoots technical issues with internal or external customers
• Provides input for designs, functional specifications, and project requirements
• Implements designs and provides feedback on the development process
• Design, build, test high quality reusable automated test suites
• Develops and supports automated unit, system, performance, and load test suites
• Leverage continuous build and automated test frameworks
• Designs and implements required development and quality tests

Management and Administration
• Works independently on complex tasks with some technical and management guidance
• Takes direction as an individual contributor and meets performance expectations
• Estimates efforts, such as schedules and costs, for individual tasks
• Meets predetermined project schedules and deadlines
• Evaluates and makes improvements to the development process
• Improves efficiencies and reduces costs through adherence and enhancements to project management methodologies, if established for the work team
• Manages individual career development; initiates career development discussions with manager

Leadership and Communication
• Communicates in a professional manner when interacting with team members
• Communicates clearly within team; actively listens to other team members
• Produces well-written technical documentation
• Occasionally gives guidance to less-experienced staff members
• Works with management to establish individual career goals that contribute to departmental goals
• Interacts and collaborates with team members in a cooperative spirit
