Remote debugging won't connect: EAS 5.5., PB 11.5

For some reason I can no longer do remote debugging on my
local server (EAServer 5.5) from PB 11; I get the "could not
connect to powerbuilder remote debugging component" message
which is rather lacking in explanation. I've reinstalled EAS
5.5 twice now to no effect. What else could be causing this?

Sounds like a problem with the PBVM or in the repository definition for PB
debugging.
