Powerbuilder component migration

Need someone to point me in the right direction please!

We have been working with easerver 5 for some time and I am currently
working out the kinks for a future migration to easerver 6.x.

I have figured out most of our issues but need help understanding how
to migrate easerver powerbuilder components from a test server to a
production server.

Today, we simply create a JAR on the source server then deploy same to
the target server.

We have never used ant or some of the other things referenced in the
system admin and other documentation so I really get lost in those
documents. I have been playing with export configurations but I don't
really get it. Do I select the PB component from the EJB list? If
so, what do I do with the ZIP file I have generated?

Basically, I need a way to generate some sort of deployment file on
one box and import it onto another. If you can help or point me to
any understandable documentation, i would appreciate it.
