pb 10.5.1 and sqlserver 2005 oledb - URGENT

i've just started to setup my machine to assist with a pb 10.5.1
project that goes against a mssqlserver 2005 db using the oledb
sqlncli. i've had pb and sqlserver on my machine for some time.
however, i do not see the oledb entry when i open the database painter
to start a new connection.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled pb. i have uninstalled and
reinstalled sqlserver. i still have no entry in the db painter window
while others on the team do. xpsp2 os, btw ...

what am i missing? what do i need to do to get the proper stuff
loaded?
