Sybase ase open client 12.5

i had posted the below problem description in ase.general

I recently installed sybase ase open client 12.5. after
installing, i am having problems connecting to the DB. I
confirmed that I am able to Ping to the server in DSEDIT.
But when I try to create a new ODBC DSN, i am getting
"[Merant][ODBC sybase ase driver]Sybase network connection
has terminated. if a transaction was in progress it has been
terminated."

I was able to connect successfuly with open client 12. now i
am not able to connect to any DB.

PL. HELP!!! THIS IS URGENT SINCE I CANNOT DO ANY
DEVELOPMENT.

I think you are running into an old ODBC bug.

Did you just upgrade to the GA release of 12.5 without
applying any EBFs?

Yes. i just applied the GA for 12.5 & did not apply any
EBFs.
