Running queries using xmlextract

Hello,

we are currently evaluating xml services on sybase 15.0.2 and 12.5.1.
Accessing data is done via ODBC on a table containing 1000+ entries,
that among other things stores complete xml documents. When running an
identical query on both sybase installations using xmlextract, we
noticed remarkable performance differences. On Sybase 15.0.2 the
query runs approximately 15 seconds, whereas on Sybase 12.5.2 it takes
about 1 second. Do we missed some configuration settings in Sybase
15.0.2?
