ASE 15.7 multiple instance installs on Windows

Were in the process of planning and testing our move from ASE 15.0.3 to ASE 15.7. To do this were just going to build new 15.7 instances and load 15.0.3 backups onto them. This in itself works OK.
The problem I'm having at the moment is that a number of our 15.0.3 machines have multiple Sybase instances on them. I've looked through the Windows installation Guide and there isn't anything about creating additional instances on a single Windows server.
The GUI install makes you install Sybase before you can configure an instance. I've tried the response file as resource files no longer work but that didn't work either.
Does anyone have any tips on how to create a second instance of Sybase 15.7 on a Windows box.
