sar and SAYBASE ?

Hi I am running
Red Hat enterprise server 3, I want to monitor system
performance during the execution of a few big queries done
by Sybase server, as I try to use the sar command the -b
parameter, all the values that is reported is zero at all
time,

07:10:00 tps rtps wtps bread/s
bwrtn/s
07:20:00 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00
0.00
07:30:00 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00
0.00


If I try to use the -d option the system tells me
"Requested activities not available in file". I take it that
the information I am requesting (IO) is not captured.

Do anyone know how I can enable this ?

Ähm. to monitor use sp_sysmon.
