Is anybody here know how to use the new vivetool 0.3.1? I tried to turn on tabs and the new navigation pane, and I'm in ver 22621.160(beta), but it wont work, plus the new vivetool 0.3.1 simplified their commands, but i cant figure it out how to use it. Thanks in advance.

From now, to enable this or that feature, it is enough for you to open a new Terminal as administrator, and type the appropriate ViVeTool command. In Terminal, use a PowerShell or Command Prompt tab - both will do. Then calling vivetool.exe, you can now type the full path to it as c:\vivetool\vivetool, and save your time.

"Build 23493 already comes with Windows Copilot pre-installed, so you shouldn't need to use a third-party tool to get the Copilot feature but as we all know operating systems don't always work as they should, and an Insider Preview build is even more unpredictable so no surprise that a third-party tool might be the solution." And then either explain why the vivetool didn't work either, or admit you know nothing about it having never used it.

Make sure you put the whole vivetool folder in the root folder of C and name it simply "vivetool". When I hit Enter I got an error message the last 4 id numbers were unknown but apparently just the first was enough and I got the Copilot icon on the taskbar. But even that was buggy since it would now and again disappear, so you'll have to go into the taskbar settings and turn it off and on again to make it show.

Step 3. Copy and paste this command into Command Prompt: vivetool /enable /id:44774629,44850061,44776738,42105254,41655236, then press Enter. This will enable Windows Copilot in Windows 11 23H2.

To open ViVeTool, simply access the command console after installing this tool. All you have to do is access the directory where the ViVeTool tool is located. After that, simply enter the command for the function you want to activate. For example, if you want to unlock Copilot on Windows 11, the string would be vivetool /enable /id:44774629,44850061,44776738,42105254,41655236.

First off to the people at Microsoft: I have watched during my life time as your company has gone from pinnacle to freaking trash, it's amazing. How do you make world class products at one point that get worse not better with time? You can't even make a comment on here through an I pad. I've had to sign in over and over to just get to this field your stuff so incredibly hard to use. And your Windows 10 is a nightmare. Just a complete nightmare. Its worthless. And this Visual Studio doesn't even work. How is that possible? Do you not realize that this thing is worthless!?! Now to the person who wrote the comment, how do you enter this stuff into command prompt? It says 'vivetool is not recognized as an internal or external command.' I typed in everything you wrote. You wanna maybe give more of an explanation then three lines? Maybe explain, just slightly how this is entered into the command prompt? I have NEVER seen such poor instructions on anything in my life. It's really sad to see what Microsoft has become and what computers in general have become. You golks make these programs and systems much harder then they need to be, you don't explain anything at all and it's just amazing that ANYONE would do that. I'm trying to better myself, learn a new programming language and the program doesn't even work! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE!?! I mean it couldn't even install it's own folder. So when some one sees this do you think it would be to much to ask to either fix the Visual Studio program so you don't have to do all this or maybe explain this patch in more then three cryptic sentences? Its like a lesson in insanity. It's really sad how you folks have made everything a nightmare to use. I don't even wanna use the Visual Studio niw but its on the hard drive and I can't get rid of it.
