I am attempting to run multiple dynamic input tools as a work around for PL/SQLs limit of 1000 IN list values in a SQL statement. My output has around 9000 list values that I am trying to pass through my query(I created a record ID and filter 1000 rows at a time into the Dynamic Input Tools), however filtering and using multiple dynamic input tools seems to freeze my workflow.

I'm creating an app that will be running on Alteryx Server. The process starts with the user completing an input template (Excel file with multiple tabs). I have a File Browse tool set up to allow the user to select their input file. From there, it is connected to 6 different action/input tool pairs. Three pull in sheets and three pull in named ranges.

The action tools "Replace a specific string" - each one replaces the entire file path EXCEPT for the sheet or range name. In this example, the entire path other than the range "Contract_Summary" is updated with the user's file.

Running as an app from Designer (desktop), it worked as expected and I proceeded to build the rest of the workflow. Today, when I uploaded it to the Server to continue testing the app with other users, when I browse to my input template file, it then requires that I select a sheet or range. It never required that when not running on the server and the app doesn't work if any of the options provided are selected.

I've found a solution to this. Not ideal, since the user still needs to make a selection after browsing to the file, but they only need to do this once (rather than 6 times). The user will be directed to select List of Sheet Names.

A single action tool now updates a placeholder value in a text input. From there, a formula tool replaces "" with the sheet or range needed. This is connected to a dynamic input tool replacing the entire file path. Additional sheets/ranges can be retrieved by updating the replace formula. During initial testing running on the server, this solution worked in bringing in multiple sheets and ranges.

I have been using google input tools (a Chrome extension) for my major input tool for my language. I used it for my designs before and was working fine. Recently, around 18/1/2023, what I typed started not being input into the text boxes in my design anymore.

I'm having some trouble with Magix Music Maker 2014 premium. I'm trying to connect my midi keyboard to the program, but when I go to settings and look at my options for an input device, it won't show anything! It recognizes the sound card as an audio playback device, but no input. So you may be thinking that my card just isn't compatible. But before I had to reinstall Music Maker, it worked flawlessly. (I had to reinstall because I upgraded my OS) But now I can't even find the device! I'm completely lost and could definitely use some help right about now, so all/any help would be greatly appreciated!

In Windows we have Microsoft Indic Tool and Google Input Tool for typing. In Ubuntu we can use Google input tool in browsers only. Does Ubuntu have any Ubuntu Indic or Input Tool for typing?

There is an m17n-project which helps in adding support for new input methods if not available in the mainstream. You can look for your native language support on ibus-m17n and if the method you want is available there, then you just have to install ibus-m17n package by running this command:

I am attempting to publish a web tool that will allow for the end-user (non-GIS professionals in my organization) to provide a pair of .csv files as input for analysis. This tool will have to be run many times with different input files as they become available and thus I need the tool to allow the user to upload/select their own input data. However, I am struggling to understand how to do this. The model tool I am trying to publish works successfully in ArcGIS Pro and has input parameters for selecting the relevant .csv files. When I publish the web tool, though, I can only run the tool using the inputs that I used to run the model tool prior to publishing.

Thanks, Calvin! This is exactly what I needed. I knew I must be missing something simple - I had no idea that the menu to edit the input parameters for the tool in the content panel existed. Appreciate the assistance!

I am trying a similar workflow and want to make sure I am understanding correctly. From ArcPro, I run a given tool as I need it to run in the Enterprise Portal. After running the tool, I can view the history and "share as web tool". To allow for a user to input data to run the tool from the portal, I need to change the configuration to allow upload? Is that all that is needed? I have tried but keep getting an error that the data needed is not available.

I am user of google input tools but after update on chromium no chromium based browsers(Brave, chrome,New beta edge) are supporting overlay or extra keyboard but firefox is supporting that. I think chromium project removed overlays like media key overlay on that update they also disable all other overlays ! so if anyone knows about it dow to enable overlays on chromium based browsers!

I'm getting really tired of the buttons on my Logitech Marble Trackball going back after just a few months and having to keep replacing them. I hear some people use Wacom Tablets? I don't paint or do smudging. Just your basic dodge and burn, remove imperfections, warm up my photos, the usual stuff. What input do you guys think is the best for that? Also I am left handed.

Wacom pens & tablets are excellent tools, but not for all uses. Plus I don't know how robust the pens would be compared to a mouse & probably more expensive to replace than an average mouse. Can't say I've even seen a lone replacement pen for sale without a tablet.

This document explains how to implement OAuth 2.0 authorization to access Google APIs via applications running on devices like TVs, game consoles, and printers. More specifically, this flow is designed for devices that either do not have access to a browser or have limited input capabilities.

If you are writing an app for a platform like Android, iOS, macOS, Linux, or Windows (including the Universal Windows Platform), that has access to the browser and full input capabilities, use the OAuth 2.0 flow for mobile and desktop applications. (You should use that flow even if your app is a command-line tool without a graphical interface.)

Even though your application runs on a device with limited input capabilities, users must have separate access to a device with richer input capabilities to complete this authorization flow. The flow has the following steps:

Mumble input is using a direct ALSA connection to Creative CA0132 card that would exclude other applications from using audio devices, including PulseAudio

Discord uses PulseAudio and cannot connect to ALSA

If the microphone input is already in use by Mumble in ALSA it would not be available for Discord

The collect input action only listens to DTM not speech. You can listen for speech by using a menu instead of the collect input action. Task 1 listens for "one" or DTMF 1, Task 2 listens for "two" or DTMF 2, etc.

The only way I can see that happening is by creating a template where you set the input for an existing audio track to none and then use that template every time you start a new project. But when you create a new track it will set to Input 1, regardless of what interface you're using.

3ple, yes part of this is me being picky. I come from using Ableton primarily. The interface and workflow just suits me WAAAY better in Ableton. Logic has so many things that just constantly piss me off. Pretty much every day I use it, I end up throwing my hands at least once. Granted, part of that is me getting used to the software, but I feel like it just doesn't work with me well and there are a lot of little bugs that make it really hard to work with. The only reason I'm using it is because I've been hired to do a composing project, and my employers use Logic and they need to have access to the project files. So I've been spending a lot of time trying to dial in the program to really work with me so I'm not constantly yelling curse words at my computer screen. Thank you for the input.

David hi, apologies for the hi jack of the thread, I don't use Software monitoring or the input monitoring, these are turned off, as I use my UA Apollo Console mixer to monitor, so how should I go about this? I have to mute the mixer each time I want to listen to the recording?

I have the the languages Marathi and Hindi switched on in Gmail input tools. I regularly use these languages while writing my emails and I find Google's ability to transliterate on the fly really useful. A few weeks before today (2015 April 23), the shortcut for switching the input tools on or off was Ctrl + g. Then Google went ahead and changed it to Ctrl + Shift + k.

Which is fine by me (I don't mind pressing an extra key assuming that the shortcut was rearranged for some consistency with some other aspect of Gmail) but now it doesn't work while writing emails. Does anyone know a work-around? I tried to change the shortcut but couldn't find a solution. Even looking into the input tools settings menu gave me no good result. I couldn't find any way to tell Gmail to allow toggling the input tools on/off while writing an email.

As a side-note, the input tools are available to try at

They also have add-ons to install on Chrome and on Windows. I have tried those, found that they interfere with my work when I am not using Gmail, and therefore I choose not to use them.

I was able to make a cinematic cameras menu using steam input, but the steam version of DCS is not required for the tool. When using my tool you can tap once then press down on the d pad of your xbox controller for the camera menu to appear. If you select an option from the camera menu, the tool will switch to that camera and automatically switch the control scheme of the Xbox controller to best manipulate that specific camera type. You should theoretically be able to create a DCS cinematic video without having to the touch keyboard with my tool.
