Are there any special steps to running dump database with compression=101 on ASE

No, but a bug was opened on it today for a problem that causes it to
fail sometimes with a "pipe returned 0 bytes" error. Possibly size
or size boundary related - seems to happen reliably for sybsytemprocs
but not for model, for instance.
