Is this statement correct: if you build a standalone app that uses SQL Anywhere and Mobilink the number of users of the Appeon server doesn't matter.

Not sure what you mean by the number of users doesn't matter? Are you talking about from a licensing perspective or the load on the server? Even if you build an offline app that uses a local db like SQL Anywhere the Appeon Server still handles pushing down updates of you application to the user when they have an Internet connection.

I am talking from the licensing perspective. 1000 users, offline app, server with 50 licenses, data synchronised with SQL Anywhere Mobilink.

Appeon Mobile is licensed in the same fashion as SQL Anywhere - based on the number of devices that the software is installed to. However, for software vendors we can do custom licensing options. Please contact us at sa...@appeon.com
