Dear Member,
Festive greetings from the St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association!
On behalf of the newly elected Governing Council, I extend heartfelt gratitude for your continued trust, support and goodwill. Your faith in us motivates the team to work with renewed energy and dedication—to strengthen the Xaverian bond and to serve our Alma Mater and the wider community with passion and purpose.
As we step into this new term, we warmly invite you to take an active role in the Association’s journey ahead. The true strength of SXCCAA lies in its members—your ideas, participation and leadership add meaning and momentum to all our endeavours.
We especially look forward to your involvement in our key focus areas—Philanthropy, Fellowship, Networking and Fund-Raising—the four pillars that uphold the Xaverian spirit of Nihil Ultra. Our ongoing initiatives in education, healthcare and social outreach continue to make a real difference and your engagement can amplify that impact even further.
Throughout the year, various sub-committees provide vibrant platforms for members to contribute across diverse areas, including:
Philanthropy; Editorial & Content Development; Website Development; Women’s Forum; Youth Forum; Sports; Reception & Protocol; Archives; Networking & Fellowship; Fund Raising; National & International Chapters Co-ordination; Membership Drive; Student & Facility Co-ordination; Press, Media & PR; Logistics; Paikhala Project; Corporate Communication & Relations; Co-ordination with WUJA & JAAI; Statutory; and Finance.
We invite you to volunteer and be a part of one or more of these committees by submitting your name, contact number and email ID at Room No. 5, St. Xavier’s College, at your earliest – latest by Sunday 19th October 2025. Kindly feel free to come forward to take greater responsibilities at your association.
Together, let us reaffirm our shared mission—to nurture fellowship, extend philanthropy, build strong networks and carry forward the proud legacy of our beloved institution.
With gratitude and warm regards,
Sanjib Koner
