Greetings from St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association (SXCCAA).
Under the guidance of our President Rev. Fr. Dominic Savio SJ, our Association along with St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata in collaboration with Film Federation of India is organizing a Webinar to pay tribute to Late Soumitra Chatterjee, who has been the face of Bengali Cinema globally for the last few decades, left for his heavenly abode on 15th November 2020.
This Webinar namely Soumitra Chatterjee: Glowing Memories (সৌমিত্র চট্টোপাধ্যায়: স্মৃতির আলোয়) will feature some prominent film personalities of Bengal and Bengali Cinema and is scheduled on Monday 23rd November 2020 at 6:30pm. The Welcome Address of the Webinar will be delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio SJ, Principal St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata & President of St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association.
The eminent speakers of the Webinar are:
# Sandip Ray (Renowned Film Director & Music Composer, Son of Legendary Filmmaker Late Satyajit Ray)
# Atanu Ghosh (National Award Winning Film Director)
# Goutam Ghosh (National Award Winning Film Director, Music Director, Actor and Cinematographer)
# Kaushik Sen (Renowned Film, Television and Theatre Actor & Director)
# Gargi Roy Chowdhury (Renowned Film, Television and Theatre Actress)
The Moderator of the session will be Arindam Sil, an eminent Xaverian & Renowned Television, Theatre and Film Actor & Director.
