Earth Day is this Wednesday, April 22. Information about the event and location of our booth is below. This is a SWVA Biodiesel Initiative booth, not just representing our co-op. So any of you with interest in SVO or making biodiesel, please join the effort. It would be great to include material about these topics as well.

These are the folks who said they could help attend the booth that day:

Jennifer Eubanks (afternoon)
Sharon Wetzel (if in town)
Gregg Lustig (probably 12 to 2)

We need volunteers...Who is interested?
1) several to attend the booth
2) one or more to make a sign, posters (if we can't locate what we had) or other material
3) someone to lead and coordinate

I can provide some biodiesel flyers, our "cards", and our petition and signup forms. I will also try to locate our posters. But I'm sorry I won't be able to do more than that this time.

Thanks!
Shawna

Subject: Earth Week 2009 Organization Fair: IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hi my name is Alexander Funk and I am the Vice President of University Relations and Outreach for the Environmental Coalition and coordinator of this year's Earth Week Organization Fair. If you are receiving this message you have in some way or another have been confirmed a booth at the Local Business and Organization Fair being held on April 22nd (Earth Day) on the Drillfield. Please pay close attention to the following announcements:

- Set up for the Organization Fair will be from 9am to 10pm. 3 to 4 loading zone spots and check-in will be located in front of War Memorial Hall, which is located directly across the drillfield from Burruss Hall. At check-in you will receive your table assignment and after unloading you be given a Visitor Pass allowing you to park in any spot around the drillfield or on campus.

- No driving on the Drillfield is permitted unless you have contacted us for a turf pass.

- The rain location will be located either in Squires Commonwealth or the Graduate Life Multipurpose Room. We will let you know when we have a better idea regarding a finalized location.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this event in the following days please feel free to email myself or Robert Jacks at rja...@vt.edu. You may also call me at 540-335-3729 and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you again for participating in this year's Earth Week and I look forwarding to working with all of you.

Sincerely,

Alexander Funk

Vice President of University Relations and Outreach, Environmental Coalition

PS: Attached are a map of the table assignments and a document with the name of your organization/business and corresponding table number.
