may I ask you to review https://github.com/sbabic/swugenerator/pull/22 ?
We need this (or an alternative) fix to get swugenerator working in Debian CI, but would rather not pick the patch into Debian without your consent. You'll find more details in the PR.

Hi Tobias,
It is fine with me, but I remember that SWUpdate does not need most of
the fields in the CPIO header. It just looks for the filename and the
size, all other fields are simply ignored.
Nevertheless, I merge the PR.
