to swupdate

swupdate 2024.05, meta-swupdate scarthgap, i.MX8, sysvinit, initrd

swupdate-progress receives progress events correctly via /tmp/swupdateprog

/proc/net/unix shows LISTENING + CONNECTED on swupdateprog → broadcast_progress_thread is connected

But zero WebSocket frames are sent to the browser during update

installed-directly = true in sw-description

scarthgap is maintained, it receives update for SWUpdate, you can simply
update to 2026.05.

Never heard about an issue even with this release, but sure you can have
some setup issue, spoecially if you run SWUpdate behind a reverse proxy
(nginx). Have you tested by connecting directly to SWUpdate's webserver ?

Hi Stefano,

Sorry I wrote my first message quickly and forgot about greetings! I hope you are doing well.

I will upgrade the preferred version, I thought 2024.05 was the last one supported for scarthgap, thanks!

And indeed I had an issue with my target interfaces and was missing a simple loopback iface, I didn’t even think about my image missing it !

For reference, I published my message before seeing this thread : https://groups.google.com/g/swupdate/c/vgoIwcnWrSU

Thank you Stefano,

Best regards,

Antoine Duteyrat
