What steps will reproduce the problem?
Apply Paste FX Chain to selected item to audio, no results

Apply Paste (replace) FX Chain to selected item, works fine

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of SWS extension are you using? (Extensions -> About SWS...)
2.4.0 #3. also happens w/previous version

What is your Reaper version number and CPU architecture (e.g. Reaper 3.75
x64)?
Reaper 4.7 64 bit

What operating system are you running? (e.g. Windows XP/7, OSX 10.5.8 etc,
64bit?) Widnows 8.1 64 bit

this place is almost dead: our issue tracker has moved to
https://github.com/Jeff0S/sws/issues

that being said, everything seems ok here... would you mind attaching a
project demonstrating the issue (in the new issue tracker, I mean ^), just
the RPP file is needed
