Dear Colleagues,
The American Physical Society (APS) March Meeting (March 15-19,2021) is currently open for abstract submissions with a deadline of October 23, 2021. The meeting accepts talks in Quantum Foundations and will have focus sessions on this topic organized by myself and Rob Spekkens. For those who don’t know, the APS March Meeting is the largest physics conference in the world. Although contributed talks only get a 12 minute slot, it is a good opportunity to advertise the field to the rest of the physics community, so it is important to have a strong slate of quantum foundations talks. This year, the conference will either be hybrid online/in-person or fully online. In either case, participants will have the option to present their talk online. This eliminates one of the usual barriers to entry, which is that the travel and accommodation costs are quite high. Since you can attend without going anywhere, I strongly encourage everyone who has recent work on quantum foundations to submit an abstract.
